Mine is and has been ready for transport for almost 3 weeks now!
Texted my dealer a couple of days ago and he said he would try and find out what’s going on but I haven’t heard back yet.

Looks like my order is now "In Transit"! Looking at marine traffic, doesn't look like any of the ships have departed so I'm guessing the ships are still being loaded. Super excited!

Mines been stuck for a while too. The phone line has been saying “ready for transport” for over a week and a Half(ish) but the online tracker only updated to that 2 days ago. My dealer says that it hasn’t shipped yet, and the BMW customer relations department Yesterday said it was at the port but today told me it was on its way to the port. Different answer every time

I got one coming from MX and it arrived at the port on 6/3 and just sat there in "ready for transport" status. . Finally got on a boat on 6/25 and departed on 6/25. And it wasn't til yesterday 6/26 that in a coupe of hours it jumped 4 steps to in transit. If you're on the East coast, your car should be on that boat too.

Why the 3 month delay in production?.....I was one day ahead of you starting 3/04 and it was complete in 4 days.....my delays happened in transport where it was shipped up and down the east coast for 2 months before I finally picked it up

My car is an Individual Pait order. Other than that I am not sure. I was told originally that my order stopped 'somewhere' in the assembly line before the my garage app could be updated. But then it seemed to start new, so I don't know.

The covid situation could have done it as well. There was some shortage parts from China around March and they closed the factories toward the end of March til early May. Mine was in production around 3/16 and got stuck for 2 months.

Ok, we're probably on the same boat then. Mine was in "ready for transport" until 6/25 then showed "dispatched from factory" then "in transit" within 24 hours. It's scheduled to arrive at the VPC on July 6th.

Just spoke to my sales associate today. He said they offload the cars in Texas (I think Galveston as that is where the ship was) and then truck them. He said he thinks it’s being trucked to South Carolina. Probably the delivery center there. He wasn’t quite sure and said he’d double check, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it stayed on the ship to Brunswick. Then they will truck it down to my dealership in south Florida. The ship it was on is the Glovis Symphony.

That's interesting. Could be based on where yours is going. Accounting to my guy, the car will be unloaded in Brunswick as bmw has a large processing center there and then trucked down to south Florida.

Since the ship was in Galveston today and the car is supposed to be at the delivery center on July 6, it makes more sense that it’s going to be on the ship to Brunswick. It doesn’t take a week to drive between Texas and the south eastern states.

Oh yes, production stopped for Covid when my car supposedly entered the production line. I thought I had made that clear.
