I have a manual 24 g80. One of the first things I did was replace the grill with a vorsteiner grill.
I wanted mesh behind it for protection but also I liked the look more than it just being so open. Vorsteiner sells a mesh you can add on but I didn’t like the pattern. I got some automotive mesh I liked off Amazon and cut it to fit myself and epoxied it in. Worked really well. You could do something similar (I also replaced the intakes) |

AggAuto Universal 40"x13" Car Grill Mesh - Aluminum Alloy Automotive Grille Insert Bumper 10x20mm Rhombic Hole, One of the Most Multifunctional Shape Grids 100x33cm Black
https://a.co/d/idoWcrv Thanks. I think it turned out really well. I got a few different versions of the mesh. Initially wanted it to have a finer mesh but I worried it may restrict air flow so went with the larger rhombus pattern |

I think it looks great. Hard to tell from the pics --- how did you secure it? Zip ties?

https://a.co/d/g3LeWH2 I cut and shaped the mesh so it hung over the edges about 2 cm. Secured the mesh tightly at the bottom with duct tape wrapped around. Globbed epoxy into mesh and let it run down between the mesh and the plastic/ carbon grill and intakes. Allowed it to cure and removed tape. |

I did the same thing, though I secured mine with black 3M double sided tape. Works great and I wanted something that would be easier than epoxy or glue to remove if I changed my mind down the road.

I just shaved down the factory grill emblem and placed it on the flat spot on grill from dongsai jack. It is only taped with double sided 3m tape and has held up to numerous track days, rallies, and washes.

Are you saying you just took a grill like this.... ...and 3M taped a badge like this onto it? It looks like there is a blank behind your emblem.... (this would be a non issue if I knew how to 3D print I'm sure)
