Best movie soundtracks?
These kinds of threads seemed to have slown down during Covid. But what the hell!
Watching "the professional" on flixs. One of the three best movie soundtracks in my opinion. The other two nominees for me are "Glory" and "the good the bad and the ugly". . And a very special mention to Conan the barbarian. |

- Blade Runner
- Legend - Singles - The Crow - Purple Rain I'm sure I'm forgetting one of my favorites, but my memory isn't what it used to be (and was never any good anyway). Those are still on my iTunes shuffle tho'. |

The crow is a great movie. But it seems to be forgotten, like tears in the rain

One movie soundtrack that always impressed me was the Kill Bill franchise. Any time this movie is playing somewhere, I'll hang around for specific tracks.
But classic tracks are also the Enter the Dragon theme and I appreciated the original Bad Boys theme... .... and the Austin Powers theme, lol

I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but it's true.
The twilight movies. All of them had an amazing soundtrack. Hated the movies, but whoever chose the songs did a fantastic job. (Before I get flamed, I had a teenage step-daughter at the time.) Also, Judgement Night. https://www.amazon.com/Judgment-Nigh.../dp/B00000297O (Highly under rated! Every song is a grunge artist matched with a hip-hop artist of that time. That Cypress Hill/Pearl Jam song!) Singles Pulp Fiction O Brother Where Art Thou Trainspotting Superfly (gotta love Curtis Mayfield) Forest Gump Baby Driver Empire Records Drive Pretty in Pink High Fidelity Dazed and Confused The Crow Repo Men (Not Repo Man) - Movie was meh, soundtrack deserved awards Lost in Translation Purple Rain American Gangster There are a ton of others that escape me at the moment. I might be a fan of movies and music. Last edited by King Rudi; 08-17-2020 at 08:25 AM.. |
