Hi,

I've just purchased a Nextbase Dashcam kit (both front and rear) along with an OBD hard wire kit.

Are there any tips or gotchas to look out for when running the cables? My car is a saloon so not got to worry about routing cable through the hatch into the car (had the joys of doing something similar on a Ford Focus years ago and that was a painful experience).

Is it best to disconnect the battery so I don't disturb the airbag in the A pillar?

Am I right in thinking as long as I run the cable down the windscreen side of the A pillar I won't interfere with the airbag?
