Bass keeps leaving

This harman Kardan system in the g20 sucks sometimes the bass leaves and sometimes I hear clicking when playing music I previously got my amp replaced by bmw I guess this amp is to weak 464 compared to the old 600 watts.

🤞🤞🤞 same here. Luckily there is a 4 yr warranty but rather not have to deal with it.

My car is Mexico build and had the issue. Amp already replaced and sounds way better.

It is not the same HK system that BMW used to install. They put in a significantly less powerful amp with a booster and that seems to be the problem.

I wonder whether BMW is actually proactively changing this for new production cars or if they're only going to replace the faulty ones when a customer complains. I sure hope it's a proactive action because that is terrible.

Also, what on earth is a "booster"? People are paying $$ for the so-called upgraded HK system so I wish they would provide what they have in past years which is a higher output amp which it should be. Coming from Audi with nice quality B&O audio systems makes me really concerned about the sound quality, even with the HK. I just can't help but think I'm going to be really disappointed, QA issue or not.

Stops working. I had a 2021 530 loner and same thing happened I guess you can't turn the bass up in this junk sound system

Lol don't turn the bass up. I had a 2021 5 series loner and the bass stopped working

At this point I'm not sure what is the problem. Every time it happens I have to leave the car and lock it make sure the car shuts down and leave it alone for 5 mins or so then it resets

"Resets"? So it temporarily sounds normal for a bit then the bass disappears or something along those lines?
