Yep the 2er is the new 3er

Just like the M2 is the new M3

Well, the Giulia QV has over 500hp at the same price and comes out on top in every review, so what do you expect from BMW...?

And yeah, more blue colors is a good thing. EBII is boring and way too ubiquitous.
Snapper rocks blue
Sonic speed blue
Portimao blue
Blue ridge Mountain
Barcelona blue
Misano Blue
Phytonic Blue Metallic

Have all been introduced in the last year or so... BMW AG has a fixation right now with blue and orange
Blue and Brown are 'in' right now in Munich.

Pretty happy to see some great blues...Brown not so much.

Hopefully it doesn't gain weight. That's my only concern. My guess is it will stay similar to F30

Does this mean DCT is an option?? I specifically bought a used 335i because I was waiting for a G20 6MT. I'll reluctantly take a DCT but only offering the top end 3 series with an auto is just ridiculous. I have no problems with people preferring the auto, but BMW has officially thrown in the towel now. This also probably means they don't give a crap about fixing the steering. Why not put the engine in front of the axle, make most of your cars AWD and put a four ring emblem on the grille and just finish the transformation to Audi?

The Next 2 series is on the way, with all but the four rings.

The Giulia has a ridiculous maintenance schedule and has already proven to be comically unreliable. I'm sure it's a great car to drive for a review, but living with it might be a completely different matter. I predict there will be very few on the road older than five or six years old.

Next 2 series is on the way !
If I could get a four door 1 series I'd be all over it. Sadly I need a sedan.

  • M features: M Sport brakes, M diff, variable steering, M suspension (option 704 standard even with xDrive, adaptive suspension optional), M steering wheel, M exterior, rear spoiler, 19" wheels.
  • The rumored carbon roof was just a rumor.
  • Interesting colors: Portimao Blue, Blue Ridge Mountain.
  • And some bad news: it will be a delayed intro, so we won't see it until Spring 2019 or later.
Perfect. My S5 lease ends in 2020.

No manual option opens up the market for the BMW enthusiasts. Now they start looking at options like Mercedes and Audi.

Seeing as how future M cars will have the 8AT instead of the DCT, my guess is that the DTC is all but dead.

Regular 340 with 330ish hp for people who don't want so much hp? There are lots of buyers who just don't want the 4 cylinder
Just use eco pro mode.

Well Blue is the principle colour of the flag of Bavaria.

Every review? I do not believe that is correct. It is a great car, I am not a fanboy in denial, but if I recall correctly the now 2-3 year old Comp pack is still beating or slightly behind the 6 months old Q.V.

Its basically just like a F30 340i with MPPSK, JB4 and M diff performance wise. So I wouldn't be worried your missing out on much for us 340 owners. Let's hope it looks the part and doesn't gain any weight. Even though I perfer the auto its a shame there won't be a manual.

Fans exaggerate too much man.

Alfa are unreliable atm. I scanned their forums and it's flooded with problems. Not to mention low sales in September was actually a bit sad...

I don’t see next gen M3/M4 going auto. DCT for at least one more generation.
