I can't agree with you. It looks like Infiniti. Which is not a good thing either.

Garbage. The fugly grilles will *never* grow on me and I am holding onto my F82 M4 for dear life.

BMW wanted the G22 to stand out and they sure did - no one will mistake it for anything else but awful looking.

Was hoping to see pics of Frozen Portimao.

Thoughts on pricing and how it will extrapolate to M3/M4?

I actually think the front looks pretty good. And it would look legitimately good if the hood line wasn’t the way it is. If it was integrated better, the grilles would look more cohesive and less pasted onto the front. At least the front looks like a BMW. Can’t say the same about the side or rear...

If anything, the front is overstyled and the side is a bit slab sided like a Mercedes

Edit: forgot to mention that it does look a lot fresher than the F32. That thing looked dated when it was unveiled, but I really didn’t like the F3x gen...

Wow. I used to love E92. Built after seeing G22, this looks old, and not in a good way. Not as timeless as I thought E92 would be. Actually even E46 looks newer somehow. But nothing can approach G22 at this point.

In my own opinion, there's no way to compare the two. The G20 is way more pleasant on the eye. G22 is a very ugly car. For example, the A5 is much better design wise.

The G22 will make any 3 series coupe before it look tired, yes even the E46. Please don’t post E46 M3 CSL pictures to prove me wrong...wait with that for the G82 release...

We always want a manual, it is the last analogue thing we have...

This car is only 2" longer than your F80. Still shorter than M5's that had a maual. I do agree that size diminishes feel, but we have to drive it first and see how the dynamics work.

I don't mind the looks of it. I think over all the car looks good, only thing that throws me off is the grill. Maybe in real life it will look better!!

I like the front end! The rest is kind of soft but my biggest complaint is that it's too damn big and heavy!

I'm really feeling this! 4 Series has been the same ever since its release, this new design is very bold and much needed in the lineup. We all complained everything looked too much the same, so they listened....

The black better needs to be 100% color matched to the grille to hide that ugly thing.

Please, can someone use Photoshop to put a normal grille on the 4-series ? I'm very curious how it looks like. I scrolled to the 5 comment pages convinced that I will find the normal grille version in one of the comments, but no...

However, big grille aside, the lack of Hoffmeister kink makes it look like an Audi A5 wanna-be, the rear is not BMW at all, basically the whole exterior is something that does not belong to the BMW brand.

It's growing on me, I think I actually like it from some angles. Looking forward to seeing one in person and taking one for a test drive. Coupes should have a bolder, differentiating design than their sedan counterparts, imo. That said, I hope the M3 grills follow the 3 series to give people a choice, but it doesn't seem like that will be the case.

G80 will look good IMO.

These dimensions are screaming for an M-touring car as well. Perfect size to be an SUV replacement.
