Blame your CUV/SUV obsessed countrymen and BMWUSA whose main interest is to move and sell every single one of the US made X-Series trucks which accounts for 30% of the total production output in Spartanburg. (The rest of the 70% production output of X series trucks are destined for export markets).

Thanks for the response. In the video it looks like a square setup.

Top of the "I like" list, will try one in the spring. I've had a look/sit in a G20 M340i and an M-Sport G21 touring, size is about right. The wild card is the 330e touring, may work in my driving profile. Wish it had an extra 5 - 10 mile EV range.
Always a 540i to fall back on, if the M340i is not refined enough. |

Again, boot space will be the possible issue. 330e saloon is a no go, but hopefully the touring (with seats up) will be just enough, for most duties. Plus the extra flexibility for the bigger/bulky loads.

Something to note is the newer interior trim option in the video: Aluminum Fabric Trim High-Gloss, this is a first close shot up on youtube. Timeframe 13:51
Looks more upscale the fact that it glitters and sparkles in the light.. If you like the bling bling effect.. |

So this is now, technically, the first-ever production M 3-series wagon, since BMW began to consider M340i a simple M car, as stated in the other post...should we be happy?
