I pulled the trigger on this quote (order) after negotiating with 4 dealers.

MSRP: $62,206
Discount: $11,551.94 plus another $500 off for USAA.
Final out door with taxes: $53,146

After seeing everyone else's deals, I knew this was the deal of the century. Cheers to all!

Congrats! Is that $11,552 discount inclusive of any incentives?

It was with USAA, Military, current BMW owner, etc at around $4500. The formality of the incentives and deal changed a lot after the two regional GMs began competing for my business.

Definitely a great deal. I think people should put how much they are paying out in MSDs though because otherwise you give people just glancing at it a false idea of how much you're actually coming out of pocket when you get the car. Your drive off might be $1500 but you're dropping another $4000 plus in MSDs, right?

I don't think the dealers will honor the same deals to everyone who goes in and asks for it. A lot of factors will come into play, so while you can still try don't go in with the expectations of it being the same for you as well. Just a heads up.

Of course. It's case by case typically, but wouldn't hurt to give the same dealer a try.

New to the forum, planning to order a M340i Xdrive, any dealer suggestion in Florida? I went to the one in Tampa, but they can only do 5.8% off the MSRP of 69,070...

I have someone you can use. The forum doesn't allow us to post referrals in the thread. Tried to DM you but you aren't accepting private messages.

Range on Lease Payments

Hi, can you guys post your monthly lease payments and if taxes are included or you paid them upfront? Looking to lease a 330 xdrive msport (54k msrp) and just want to know what range I should expect?
How long is total delivery time if I build?

Thanks for all replies.

You'll have to do a bit of digging... but this thread lists people's deals.

I would also suggest checking leasehackr forums. Ultimately what you're aiming for is discount off MSRP pre-incentive. Don't shop around the monthly payment, because that's quite variable based on region, mileage, incentives you qualify for, money factor, taxes, etc.

As for delivery time, it depends on if you get any individual options or not (such as paint color). Typically it can range anywhere from 4-8 weeks, potentially longer if you go with a true individual color.

Is 1% of msrp still a good rule of thumb for the monthly payment (not including tax)?

Nope - the "1% rule" is not a good rule of thumb at all. It does nothing to help you determine if you're getting a good deal or not. For some cars, 1% payment of your MSRP might be a great deal, and for others it might be an awful deal. With so many variables impacting the monthly payment (i.e. mileage, residual value, incentives you may or may not qualify for, etc), using blanket generalizations such as 1% can be very misleading.

Case in point - 1% on my X5 when I ordered it would have been incredible, and also completely unrealistic. On the other hand, 1% on my M340i would be a pretty weak deal because so many others (as did I) were able to get well below 1%.

What determines if you're getting a good deal or not is how your deal compares to others of the same car and same region.

That's why sources like Leasehackr are so valuable, because chances are you'll be able to find others in your state/region that share their deals on the same car.

My order is looking like it's going to take full 10-12 weeks from date placed. However my dealer didn't have allocation right away so had to wait for that. I've seen others in here where it's only half that. Depends on if your dealer has an allocation.

It's just a # same like all the other parameters people are giving out. I don't know anyone on this forum and certainly not twisting any arms to release something ppl don't want too.
I just have a budget for a 2nd car and wanted to know if possible to get this car within $100 range of my budget. I don't have patience or time to shop around so I don't mind paying little more then other guy but certainly don't want to be ripped off.
Appreciate all the replies thus far.

Kind regards.
