The dials are always digital, even on the none pro cockpit. They look more traditional but there's nothing physical moving around anymore.

Ditto. In for 10k service and winter tires. Got it back with 7/2019.55. Was at 3/2019.

Telematics Icons updated, map says it's updated, and gauge cluster map definitely has more detail.

NFC pad still causes ApplePay to light up all the time.

Well the brochures only talk about a 5.7" DIGITAL cluster in the non pro models, hence assuming the rest of the display that lots up is analog.

Tbh dealer brought one the other day but battery was low

My car used to switch from the rear to the front camera immediately coming out of reverse into drive on software 03/2019 but this no longer seems to be the case once updated to 07/2019.55. Anyone else having this issue?

Click on the camera icon with the A from automatic. This would automatically activate the right camera ...

This has been my work around but the problem is I need to do this every single time I shift into reverse. Before it was always set to automatic. So I'm sensing somethings not right here unless the function itself has been changed.


*To clarify, prior to updating iDrive, I would go into reverse, rear camera comes on, I would shift into drive and it immediately changes to front camera. I could see auto is selected for the camera selection on the iDrive camera screen. After updating to 07.2019.55, going into reverse activates rear camera but now shifting into drive the rear camera remains as opposed to switching to the front. I select auto, it switches it to the front, but on my next reverse event, the same behavior happens.

Just gave this a shot but unfortunately it looks like auto camera front won't trigger without manual intervention each time. I'll have to take it in, prior to update switching to drive switched the camera to the front each time without fail.

My M340 had software version 03/2019.60 and every time I checked for an update, I got software up to date.
Well, I took my car in for an oil change & the rear camera recall and I now have software version 07/2019.70 -- my SA gave me a whole bunch of hum-ahuma about over the air.

Ever since I had my car updated it seems to experience turbo lag quite often in comfort mode. Sometimes, it feels as though the car is going into limp mode.It only does it in comfort mode which is my regular mode for commuting in heavy traffic daily. Has anyone else had similar issues? Before the update I only experienced lag a few times, now it's become frequent and pressing the gas pedal harder does nothing. The tranny refuses to obey my commands and won't cooperate until i back off wait a couple seconds and try again.

I have experienced this several times, and I believe it was after the software update. It feels more like throttle override than turbo lag - there's just no power for a second or two, and only when rolling slowly, like when taking a left turn from a center lane. Haven't noticed any delay off the line.

It brings back not-so-fond memories of the E83 X3 I had, the first year with valvetronic. It had terrible throttle response.

Maybe I'll complain and get another update, although I worry about regressive bugs - CarPlay works great now and ambient lighting no longer continues blinking after answering a phone call LOL
