how to tell if my car have a Mild Hybrid system?

2021 M340i TOuring

first there is not LiIon battery in the engine bay
second i never see EBOOST come on

would you see bright orange cables in the engine bay if you have a mild hybrid?

maybe mine is an end of line 2020

however, it does not have any exhaust pops bangs or burbles suggesting not 2020

I'm pretty sure that I read that the lilac coloured cable in the photo below, and the option code 1CE Recuperation System indicate MHT.

edit - No lilac cable going into the compartment which is empty

now i know why the space in the engine bay doesn't have a Li Ion! they even cleared out the space but deleted the MH !

Are you in Australia? Mexican, Australian and Chinese cars m440i are not Mild Hybrid. Also you total hp might be a little higher than that of other countries, at 387.

I have to say though, sometimes the power meter gets very close to 400 hp and 560nm what ever that means

560nm is 560 newton meters of torque.
That equals about 413 foot pounds of torque.

These overshoots are rare but sometimes it accidentally makes more than it is meant to maybe. Who knows

The Mild Hybrid system is supposed to add about 11hp under certain circumstances. Not sure how much torque.
But regardless, the official numbers are a modest estimate anyway.

I only heard about Mexico (mine was bought here in Mexico), Australia, and China. Do not know somewhere else. But a glance at the local distributors may give an idea.

Didn't they remove the start / stop button from the mild hybrid. Isn't that a quick way to tell?

Punch it and if your gauges turn blue and says e-Boost then you got it
