Steering wheel click
Hi all, I have a 2019 330i in the UK. Recently. I've noticed that after driving for 40 minutes or so I get an odd click from the steering wheel when turning.
It is a quiet dull click and not at the same point on the steering wheel. Sometimes no click, sometimes a click at around 15 degrees turn of the steering wheel, doesn't always happen, can happen at 5 degrees. Anyone else experienced the same? It's definitely the steering column and not suspension |

I have the the same thing along with a flutter noise that’s almost certainly the strut mount. The tick noise just started and happens when the wheel returns to 12 o’clock. It is a faint single tick that sound like plastic.
The snap, crackles, and pop with BMWs are definitely a thing. |

Might be the SZL (clockspring that the indicators are attached to).
They work with tabs that can click - although I've never noticed this issue in mine. |
