Hi Guys,

Yes sorry it’s been a bit of strange day or two for other reasons unfortunately.

Yeah car arrived yesterday and what a car, gave a it a full charge and had some fun. Sadly it’s stopped stopped accepting a charge now!

Loving the car tho, can’t wait to run it in and have some proper fun in it. Fantastic car, tech is fantastic, looks great and surprisingly comfy considering I’m coming from a Volvo.

It’s absolutely filthy. But crappy pics are attached.

I just hope it’s no big issue sorting the charging issue.

Worked fine yesterday, just has been playing up today. I’m taking into Sytner later this afternoon. Not a good start to BMW ownership lol

Loving that orange, mine randomly stopped charging the other night but after messing about with it it's been fine now (touch wood) fingers crossed it's an easy fix wassap 👍🏼

Seems to be working again. I’m gonna try and charge it for an hour or 2. Let’s see what happens now.

What happened? Mine was charging then randomly threw up a fault on my phone I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it just said fault, so I locked and left the car and tried again and everything was back to normal 🤷🏼*♂️ not happened since and those issues on the app have now gone after the man from bmw working his magic

Hazzer20 how did you get on with the Transport mode issue, did it go away itself?

With the charging, I tried locking and unlocking, and it was randomly giving me a white light or a red light. I tried the 3 pin charger and a free one at the coop, and the car wasn’t accepting charge from any of them. Just before I was leaving for the dealer I thought I’d give it one last go and it’s worked. Last night it charged for 10mins then it stopped.

Had to ring the lease company who put me in touch with a dealer and they sent someone out within a couple hours (classed it as break down apparently 😂🤷🏼*♂️) he just said leave him to it. Plugged his comp into it and he said it'll take about a day to go and now it's "all good" 😂

Very nice guys. The issues you are randomly having would really hack me off on a new car but I guess if they company have funded them and you are saving shed loads on tax you can be more forgiving....

Hope all issues get sorted swiftly.

Loving the colours by the way, son in law has a grey M340iT and I dont think it does it any favours at all

It has soured the new car experience if I’m honest. I’ve just had BMW assist out and the chap said it had also been left in transport mode. I hope that fixes it.

I am definitely going to check with the dealer that it’s out of transport mode before they deliver it. Seems to be happening too often. What run in recommendations have you all been given?

When you say run, you mean to drive in? Been in Hybrid mostly on Eco pro and just seems to stay in electric all the time and Hybrid Standard when you go about 25-40mph the blue dash goes (guesssing that's when engine kicks in) not really impressed with electric range but it is winter so have to take that into account and it's cheaper then petrol 😂 just need to get off my flat energy tariff now 😂

Fab cars guys. Enjoy. The waiting would have driven me mad. I bought a stock M-Sport 330e with the M-Sport plus package. I had to wait 5 weeks for the government grant to be processed and that seemed to be forever....zero patience.

Ive added rear spoiler, debadged at rear, added plate surrounds front n back, side skirts, changed chrome grille to gloss black
Did add front splitter, but had a little gapping, will reapply once i get some 3m tape
Needs full interior and exterior detail and ceramic coat
But I'm super chuffed with the portimao blue, it is a stunning colour

The chrome grill does the G20 no favours. The black grill is a must do MOD. It’s the 1st thing I did. I have a black spoiler aswell, but I’m gonna wait till the warmer weather, as the adhesive tape never bonds well in colder temps.

Have you gone for genuine parts? Or aftermarket?

After market, i reckon they can be replaced at a later date if required. But hopefully they last. Seem ok quality, but sure you get what you pay for?!?
