Hi guys, I ordered this dongle to use with BimmerCode. I have an iPhone 6 I’ve dug out and restored to peak performance to use exclusively with the BimmerCode application

One question I have, is do I have the option of using the indicators alongside the DRLs, as amber daylight running lights?

I’ve tried looking (although I’m autistic and couldn’t find my c*ck on my wedding night) and is there a collated thread or list about BimmerCode for the G21?

No idea if Bimmercode can do it but I do vaguely recall a list of what it can and can't do and don't remember seeing that. You can certainly do it with E-Sys though on the F3x so I imagine you still can. Not sure why you'd want to look like an American, but ETTO....

Would it be legal in the UK? If not, you'd probably be OK until your first MOT, but might get a fail at that point.

I think the law is quite strict on what colour lights you're allowed to display, and when.

OT most of my family on my mum’s side is from Cov, my great aunti Marn did bespoke interiors on Daimler’s and jags, and my uncle Robert worked for Talbot Sport.

BMW are launching models with yellow DRLs. I’m pretty sure you can have orange or yellow statically on the front.

Very, very happy with it mate, obviously HK and others would be nice, but for what it is, I’m extremely happy with it, having done full SQ installs on previous cars with big amps in the boot when I was younger, it doesn’t disappoint!

As you said mate, really sad those places are gone, like Longbridge and so many more. Didn’t Talbot become a Pugrot plant iirc? I’m only 30 so have to go on books and family knowledge.

Yes Talbot became Peugeot which became Citroen / PSA but gone now.

BMW sound systems are usually poor so it's good to hear that. Even HK doesn't compare favourably to B&O (Audi) and B&W (Jag).

Just noticed yours is a Sport as opposed to M-Sport - according to the brochure the HiFi is only on M-Sport 330i and M340i/d. Is that something that has changed since you bought yours or did you get a dealer-fit?
