Lol, congrats, when you get some time, tell us your thoughts about the car and how it compares to the F80, thanks.

First impressions; The interior looks and feels much more luxurious than the Fxx. The new iDrive is completely different so that takes a little to get used to but I seem to like it after playing around with it. The car is not as loud as I thought it was going to be (I picked it up without even seeing or driving it). Then again I am coming from an F80 with the MPE. I did remove the exhaust flap so both open at all times. The car is fast but I haven’t had much time to get a real feel for it just yet. But it’s a much more comfortable and less stiff than the F80. Even in sport plus. The Limited slip works wonderfully especially with DSC off and sport plus. Really easy to get the tail out if you wanted to. I’m in a cold and snowy area. So the remote starter was great this morning!! Will report on more as I drive it a little more in the coming weeks (driving to Boston and Montreal. So will have an extra 1000 miles in by that time) |

I had a loaner M340 while my car was in for service, the interior is nicer since it was a new design compared to F80. You can't permanently disable the auto stop & go function, on individual sport mode car handle pretty good but not as stiff as F80.
The new Nav is pretty nice and screen color is sharp, only had the car for half a day and didn't have the time to play with all features & functions.

I knew that can be done but other BMW would have the feature turn off by pushing the button and you can turn it off.

just turned in my 2017 m3 competition, it was a rough riding - lag filled wild child - i was kind of ready for something a little more refined. comfort on f80 m3 is harsher than sport+ on m340 with adaptive dynamic. Plus the m340 doesn't go from no torque to DSC light in 1 second, matter of fact its pretty hard to light up dsc on m340. They reduced the torque spike to match the chassis more or less.
