DSP. What are the options? HK. 688.
The more I listen to my HK 688 (Top Hi-Fi). The more I think the amplifier is the weakest link in the chain.
Audiotec Fischer. MATCH UP 10DSP amplifier with integrated MEC ANALOG IN module is one option. That would be plug and play. Audison is another. Not sure about plug and play or other requirements. Are there any other options out there to consider?? I feel like we need an audio table of contents thread like taibanl put together years ago. |

The G2x HK (9ch) can use a 7/8ch DSP/amp, by wiring the rear speakers (doors and deck) in parallel (2ohms).
So an UP 7DSP, AP F8.9 bit, Musway D8, JL Audio VX800/8i or a JBL DSP4086 can be easily integrated. |

I’m going to say Audison. Reason being is you can set up a number of profiles. My understanding regarding the match-up (rebranded audiotech fischer) is that you have to let the guy know what kind of music you listen to, he programs it, and ships it out. Then if you want it adjusted you need to either send it back or figure out the software as it only as one active profile. Where as the Audison is capable of multiple ones. Someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
