Just made a deal today on a 2022 BMW M440i Conv in NoVa. (6% off between Dealer contribution and PenFed Incentive) Thanks to posts for helping me prepare and get a decent deal in 2022.
Deal Details MSRP $73,895 Deal Contribution = $2,149 PenFed Incentive = $2,500 Deal Processing Fee = $699 Tags = $300 No Other Add-ons Md Tax = 6% Notes ZPK Parking Assistance Package is a no-cost add-on but you have to ask the dealer to add it. It’s not shown on the BMW website configurator. 6DR Drive Recorder was a $100 add-on and is also not listed on BMW Website. Again, I had to ask the dealer to add it. Production Build Scheduled for Feb 2022 |

Jonas,
Nice job. I've got a similar car sitting at the factory waiting for shipping. Hopefully this gets resolved, but as of today BMW is no longer listed as a PenFed Rebate partner. So if they don't renew, you and I both will lose out. Also, I think there is a price increase coming for 40i cars built after 1/31, so be ready to push back on your dealer. It's my understanding that BMW has a history of honoring pre-increase prices, but you might need to be ready to push for it in these crazy times. |

SpeedyATL, I noticed the BMW incentives were missing from PenFed website today. The program has been in play for 2 years so hoping it's just a delay in updating on PenFed website as the new year kicks in.
I also heard about pending price increases in 2022 on the 40i cars. I've been unable to get solid info on it and would hope that BMW would honor all active orders. This is going to be interesting |

If the market remains the way it is, I think I will just buy my M340.
I hope this isn't a dumb question, but when you buy your vehicle at the end of the lease, do you have to finance through BMW financial?

Cool, thanks for the info. I've always just jumped to the next lease, so I'm completely unaware of how the purchase works. Thnx

I just ordered a new 2022 m440x GC. I paid MSRP but felt really bad. I have never paid MSRP before. Is it common to get a discount now a days? Some dealers I have been, they were trying to charge above MSRP.

Welcome to the forums and welcome to the MSRP club. MSRP is currently the new normal. I don't even want to know what the current interest rate is. We got 1.9% plus a $1,000 financing credit.

I paid msrp for my order and I had to walk away from the deal when they tried to charge a markup before they'd drop it, msrp is bad enough there's no way I'm paying a markup just on general principle |

Thank you. I was going to use PenFed since I am a member. They offer 1.9% for 60 months. I believe BMW does not have any incentives this month other than loyalty incentives. My dealer said they will honor any incentives that arrive during the month of delivery. Hoping to see some coming up soon.

If you love your car, keep it. I sold my last lease and made some money. I'm buying the new car because of the crazy lease market and driving it until the wheels fall off.

I've checked with multiple dealers in my midwest region, no luck with discounts (besides the BMW loyalty or corporate sales program discounts).
Now I'm trying to find dealerships that lock in rates 90-120 days, and trying to figure out what the excuse is for the dealerships that don't. |
