Sedan_Clan just collecting names!
For those who are not frequent visitors to this site, you will come to learn and realize all the information that becomes available - more than what you can find on a Audi or Mercedes forum. And for those who are regulars here, I am sort of disappointed at the denial even when leaks and information from SCOTT26 all but confirms what is speculated. Less than a month... |

This was said when BMW decided to make the X5 their first SUV model. This was said about Bangle's BMW designs. This was said when BMW decided to make a X6. This was said when BMW decided to make an i3. This was said when BMW decided to connect the headlight to the grille. What I'm trying to get at is, this new design for the kidney grille is coming! |

There is good news for the UK. The car won't come here due to Brexit, pound worth as much as a mexican peso and inflation to one that can only be described as unheard off in history. DT assistant / lap dog is doing everything but a monica lewinski to please his overlord.

I'm so excited to see this thing. I prefer exciting and ugly over boring and ugly. So I hope that if BMW makes these bigass grilles a thing they really go for it all in, instead of taking a vanilla design and just slapping the giant grilles on it. I have my doubts for how giant kidneys translate to modern front ends with all the safety regulations though... Lexus designed their cars around the grilles and, say what you want about them, but when they nail it their cars look really good with some interesting surface detailing.
Like it or not, I think this is the way it is going to go. Manufacturers are going to slim headlights, since that technology is getting better, with giant grilles since they can hide all their safety/autonomous sensors in there. |

And I will see many of you posting your deliveries of M440i's and M4's on this very forum.

Although this is an entirely unscientific observation, no topic has been more polarizing as the new / upcoming BMW grille redesign.
This forum is a gold mine for BMW product planners. I hope that's how they see it ... |

I think this is needed instead of having clients walk in and expect more of the same - one BMW, different sizes. |

Some of that shit you mentioned above didn't work that well - we will see how "iconic" the 10 minute old 4er looks in this guise.

E65 might not be a classic but that is hardly relevant when the E65 became the most controversial but highest selling 7er. |
