Probably gonna be 2020 or 2021. The M4s end of production is summer 2020.

Recall that the E90 M3 (and 3 Series) finished out as an MY2011 at the end of 2011 when the F30 began production. The F80 M3 did not arrive for more than two years after, in the first half of 2014 as an MY2015.

The F80 M3 (and F30 3 Series) will similarly finish out as an MY2018 at the end of 2018 when the G20 begins production. The G80 *may* not arrive for more than two years after, in the first half of 2021 as an MY2022.

The only way this would change is if the G80 M3 were to separate from the G82 M4 completely from an external parts sharing perspective. This would perhaps allow for it to arrive as early as just over a year or so later than the G20, like the F90 M5 soon will compared to the G30 5 Series. We shall see.
