Thats hilarious lol I use that name on some platforms if this is already taken

But yeah shes getting toasty. Too bad I don't have my car during this entire week of sunny and 70. I am very upset about that lol. They are still looking for the leak and haven't heard an update yet since I dropped it off Friday morning

They have been having a difficult time identifying where it's losing fluid. BMW gave the green light to begin tearing the car apart and try to find out more. They have located a small amount of dye around the AC expansion valve (near the firewall). They ordered and will be replacing the seals for that part. I feel like my car is a Frankenstein at this point! Will hopefully hear another update in the next few days.

Pressure tested the evaporator, everything checked out. Replaced seals inside expansion valve as it appeared there was a small amount of dye around that area.

Now narrowed it down to a leaking low side AC Line leaking around the charge port. I took the car back temporarily as they said the part is coming from Germany and has no ETA. They charged it up in the meantime so I have a slowly failing AC system until it comes in lol.

If you have to go in a third time for the same issue don’t they limón it? Sorry I’m not too familiar with lemon laws.

Cannot believe the number of issues I have had with this car
Mine went out, again, yesterday. Have oil change appt end of month, but service will fit me in sooner rather than later since it's a recurring issue from last summer when I had no AC for over 2 months in 90+ temps. At least now it's only mid 80s for 3 days then a cooling trend.

addendum: dealer overnighting refrigerant hose, maybe tomorrow fix but more than likely Monday which I'm cool with since they gave loan and told me NOT to fill it with gas upon return!

I could definitely lemon it. Been in the shop for like 40 something cumulative days since November 2022. But I do not want to, I love the car

Probably a very slow leak like mine. What a fiasco!

Part came in, everything now fixed They said they are confident in the repair. My service advisor is a great guy. I have been the most patient person as i understand it is not their fault and I am not at all an entitled person just because I bought a $93,000 car.

However, they said since I have been so understanding and a great customer, they offered to contact BMW corporate about covering a monthly payment, or sending me to M101 driving school free of charge. I have the M Driver's package on my car so opted for the monthly payment compensation.

I did not expect anything other than my car to be fixed so I am very grateful! If you are in the Cincinnati area, The BMW Store off Stewart Ave. is the place to go. Great people that go above and beyond to help.

Sorry to hear of your issues. My first M4 came with no Sirius (they forgot to code it) but otherwise problem-free except for a rattle. The second M4 is problem-free.

Now, my M2, OMG, that was in the shop every freakin' couple of weeks, between problems with the car and issues with the repairs, it probably took 8 months to get everything settled. Finally it was, and it was issue-free for the remainder of its stay with me.

Best of luck.

As frustrating as it is, it doesn't make me love the car any less I love the M3 like no car I have had before.
