I have an organizational sticker that I've placed on my last 2 cars/trucks, but as much as I'd like to, I can't bring myself to 'deface' the surface of my M4comp. Perhaps I'd be more willing sometime after my first real ding. Anyone else finding it hard to mar the look? I already hate the pikepass inside my windshield...

I’ve never put a sticker on the outside of a car which wasn’t purely a track car. That’s just me.

No stickers, no decals, hell.. I even paint my PA EZPASS black and tuck it up by the mirror so it can’t be seen. Seeing those bright white ezpass devices drives in the window drives me bonkers.

So I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing for years but just never took the initiative. I just never mounted mine for the same reason but I’ll give painting it black a try and see how it looks on the windshield. Thanks

Had not thought of that, it's the RF coil thats important. would have to do something about the adhesive..wipe it off, paint and new double back tape?

I've had some dumb decals on my very first car back in the 90s. Tuner decals lol.

I don't mind seeing some organization decals or those 'future classic' stickers on the windows.
On the body panels? No way.

Can you get it printed on vinyl?

On my F80 M3 CS, I could put magnets when I needed them, then take them off when I don't. Unfortunately, the G8X doors are aluminum so I've had to resort to vinyl. It comes off easily enough when I don't need them. I also have vinyl track stickers on my rear quarter window:

Mp3 - I used to paint the PA transponders until I had to replace one. When I turned it in, they charged me $25 because it was painted. So, I wrapped the new one in black electrical tape.

Back when I was active in HPDEs, I also affixed track stickers to a rear side window of the tracks I'd driven. (I see we've been to many of the same places.) For my G82 I initially put a few small, favorite stickers on the corner of my windshield, but within a couple weeks they were all removed. They just didn't align with the clean, minimalist look I sought.

My old hippie father would have a Grateful Dead "Steal you face" sticker above the mirror in his E39 M5s (he had 3 of them). Of course no longer possible with the tech that's put there on modern cars.

Even with the smallest track stickers I could find online, I thought they were too big and did look a bit tacky. So instead I made these myself and had my niece print the for me on her cricut. They are only 1.5 inch high, which is 0.5 in smaller than the smallest I could find online. They are a great conversation starter at the events I go to, but small enough that they don't get too much attention on the street.

No stickers except vinyl numbers at the track which I place on rear windows and remove after. Never mount ez-pass, its in the driver side cubby. Less and less places around here need the physical ez-pass lately since they just take a photo of the rear plate which is enough to bill my ez-pass account.

I was inspired by this and did the same thing to mine specifically to the race tracks I’ve physically driven.
