What's the Next Big Upgrade After DP & Tune?
Hey guys,
'22 M340i. I have a JB4 on map 5. I have been playing a little with higher octane gas and ethanol mixes. I have a catted VRSF down pipe, and an intake. Dragy Best valid 0-60 in 3.46s and 1/4 in 11.57. How would I get into 2.XX and 10.XX territory? I see setups with the Pure 800 and e30 get. deep into the 10's. That's an investment I could potentially make. but wanted to check with you guys. What did you guys do after the common bolt-ons? |

ECU unlock should be your priority followed by either a HPFP or Pure 800/ larger turbo.

No aftermarket HPFP for this platform. Just straight to Port injection.

Next setup would be getting your DME unlocked and getting a real tune. You will see a real difference in power and delivery! JB4 is okkkkk for what it is, it getting a real tune will be a game changer
I’m about 2 days away from getting my car back from my tuner and will be at: Full Exhaust (catless DP) Pure 800 Turbo Port Injection (upgraded charge pipe for fitment) And BM3 beta Flex Fuel Excited to see what the numbers will be- Assuming we will be around low to mid 600’s to the wheel for HP. Will do a write up with everything once it is home. |
