That's sounds painfully loud. Not the good kinda loud. Very raspy and tinny. I feel like BMW is getting a little too burble pop fart crazy w their cars now. Even (IMO) with the new M5 it sounds amazing but can be a bit too much w the pops Nd burbles for a stock exhaust. How come they can't get it to a more AMG like deep growl tone? Benz also uses turbos now in their AMGs nd still gets them to sound like Harleys. I have a straight piped N55 which sounds amazing maybe a bit of drone when driving in comfort mode but I love it even when it was stock it had a great tone. And w/ my 2018 X5M there's no pops and burbles but it has a nice deep tone especially on sport w WOT.

I gotta say the new M340 has grown on me. My neighbor has a light grey one (sick color btw Similar to Nardo Grey) w a front lip and I think it looks a lot better in person. But the base line 330 is a total fail IMO.

Also I was watching Donut Media on YouTube. They showed a 1000 hp Supra build and from what they showed the B58 Engine is crazy. Idk if the B58 in the Supra is exactly the same as it is on the F series and G series 340i's but if so it's insanely capable. They were calling it the modern 2JZ equivalent.

This has absolutely nothing to do with me being defensive. I was merely replying to an individual that was making assumptions and being defensive himself. You're talking to the wrong guy.

I honestly can't notice a difference in sound between those exhausts and any V8 BMWs anymore. I guess the turbos have hit the sound department in BMW much more than it did for MB.

What's a 340? Aren't they all M340's?
From 2016-2018 they used the b58 in the f30 body. It's a 2016 340.

Not me. I am of an opinion that M cars are way too stiff for being a daily car. M340 offers a perfect blend between performance and comfort and on top of that, it is a newer generation BMW.
On top of all that, it actually looks decent and with all the design abominations that BMW recently released, that for me is an achievement worth mentioning.

Plus its version of the B58 was rated at 320 hp versus the 382 in the M340.

Why do people go catless? this isn't a 2004 Subaru tuned on a budget, it's a new BMW. The tune will never be perfect enough on these turbo cars to not stink up the entire neighbourhood. Put a damn hiflow cat on there--it'll probably sound better. And definitely disable those absurd burbles in your tune.

Sounds good for just a DP. Thanks for the video.

I miss my old titanium mpe, it was so raw and loud, stock mufflers are always too quiet.
