New M440 - Mods - Pics

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I got my M440 a couple of months ago. I've started with the mods so I thought I would share. Here are the details.

Color: Dravit Grey/Tacora Red
Options: Shadowline, Executive, Drivers Assistance Pro and Parking Assistance Packages, Adaptive M Suspension, Power Tailgate, Drive Recorder, wireless charging and Harman Kardon stereo
Mods: AC Schnitzer lowering springs (-1.0"), BMW M Performance 795M Bi-Color 20" wheels, IND Painted front reflectors, Burger Tuning Intake and spacers (13mm front and 15mm rear), 30% window tint, BimmerCode Custom Coding

I love the Schnitzer springs. I think it is the perfect amount of lowering for a street car (about -1.0") and the ride feels stock.

Wow. This is the first thread I've seen that I think really showcases Dravit Grey. It doesn't look at all like the "fresh clay" / battleship grey it usually does in other threads.

Cleanly modded too.

It gets the cement color look when it's in the sun (similar to Nardo Grey but with metallic flake).

Thanks! Yes I plan an exhaust, tune and painting the black part of the rear bumper in body color but leaving the diffuser fins black.

And if they ever make this front bumper I'll get it:

Thanks! I've loved them since I saw them on the 2002 Hommage concept car and I always wanted them. They are forged and really light too.

Do these wheels have Cerium grey accents in addition to the ferric grey or is it more silver?

They are all matte ferric grey with some spokes brushed. No Cerium grey anywhere on them. They also come in all black.

Aye same here. I fear for them and the ride quality with the state of our roads though, which pushed me to go for jet black 791M's as a winter set up and keep the same wheel in bi colour as my summer set.

You mind sharing a quick pic of the black 791s on yours?

Sure thing, probably need to be later today or at the weekend as I have a narrow driveway so can't get a decent side shot and as we had our roof cleaned two days ago, which caused the resulting over spray to land on the car, it's in need of a clean

Do you see any performance or sound difference with the air intake? Also do you know if it will mess with any of the 3 and 4 year warranty's? Thank you
