Well it's still a "concept" but that front grill is just hard to believe.

I like the rest of the car... it has a beautiful roof line. The previous 4 coupe looked very unfinished in the roofline area to me.

Like Audi I suspect this front grill is going to have hardware going across it to meet low speed impact requirements and mount license plates.

IMO this concept looks elegant not sporty. Something like the previous generation 6 series.

Unfortunately the hoffmeister kink is dead.

Wow 6 pages about that grill, but not one mention about what looked like a woman and then possibly a man with a goatee by the end of the video.

Smoke and mirrors.

Irrespective of the grill, this generation finally completes the transition of the 3 (now 4) Series Coupe away from the sedan to take on its own identity. It now looks no more like the 3 Series Sedan than the 8 Series does the 7 Series. I still think they should have broken the M3 off completely from the coupe’s lineage as well, but perhaps that will come next generation.

It is going to be interesting to see if the G42 and G20 LCI also get tall grills when they hit the market in 2021 and 2022 respectively. G30 LCI, too, for that matter, which drops early next year.

That is not the BMW we know.

It takes a special anti-talent to design the front end as repugnant, tacky and tasteless looking.

Compared to that abomination, the Lexus front end may now be called harmoniously beautiful.

I like it, so much that I’ll think about trading in my wife’s ‘16 340. Yes, the grill is big, but in shadowline trim it’ll look great. Finally, not just an small evolution of the kidney. I really like it.

The 5 series has barely been out on the market and they're already refreshing it? Have they considered building prettier cars?

It actually looks worse than the render that Bimmerpost did.The whole front of the car is dominated by the huge kidney grille.Even the front bumper is huge and overstyled. It looks like a huge locomotive. Some of the Chris Bangle era designs look like masterpieces compared to this terrible looking design.

That would explain the G80 grille treatment.

There is something very Infiniti about the rest of the car.

Early reviews of the styling are not kind. Guess the folks at Audi and Mercedes will be happy.

No German/BMW design language at all. Pokerface is right - rear is all Q60 coupe. Hoffmeister kink too angular, any lower and it would be nonexistent. And that grille...

The headlights are okay, I guess. Wheels aren't bad, a tad too big but it's a concept so they usually are. I'm glad I'm not loyal to BMW, or I'd be seriously disappointed right now.

Looks like a damn Truck from the front - sort of Dodge Ram!

For those with front plate requirements- this is just the worst......
