4 series spotted in wild in Northern va

Saw this today while out...was a drive by w kid in car so not most detailed shots but...

All i can say is IRL its not any better (to me at least) ..pictures rep the car accurately.. I was really underwhelmed. It just doesn't look sporty or generate any excitement for me...but perhaps for some it will...so here you go:

I agree, this doesn't really do it for me. Even in the M440i trim it doesn't look incredibly sporty. I think it wears the new grill worse than the M3 and M4 as well. The grills are starting to grow on me in the new M cars, but it still just looks out of place here.

It is the dimensionality. The height makes it look fat whereas a wide but not tall grill makes the car look mean and aggressive. To use a sporting analogy: John Daly vs. Tiger Woods.

Totally agreed. I am OK with the M look. The G22 is just wrong unless Tanzanite or black with shadowline trim/grills...

I saw about 5 of them at a local dealer today. They are starting to get a lot of them in stock. I think they look alright. I'm actually starting to think they look better than the M340i. The M models will look even better. And I do love the interior.

Better than the M340i??? Not by a mile imo.
