Anyone try running E30? Do you get any drivetrain malfunction errors on iDrive?

You can run up to full E85 on a custom tune with stock fueling. E30 is no sweat provided you have a tune to go with it.

You can run on E85, but I'd not recommend that without extra mods. B48 Engine components are not designed to run on E85 and over time some parts might get extra wear and tear.

There are no "mods" designed to reduce wear and tear from running E85. Oil changes and spark plug replacements need to be done more frequently.

I’ve been running E30-40 for about 2 months now. No noticeable issues with oil or plugs. Dealer is still doing oil n filter service in regular suggested intervals. Will probably look into aftermarket plugs sooner than later just to say I did em.

Any turbo lag issues with higher E content?

Also, are you mixing 93 or 91 with E85?

I’m mixed with 91 octane. 93 is pretty hard to find in SoCal. I get a little lag between 2g n 3g. Sorry for lagging ( lol ) with the reply

Very interesting build

Trust me I get a lot of side eye cause I’ve put so much into a car that’s not even an Msport but what’s funny is once they hear it or see a pull the props start comin. I’ve never draft or put it on a dyno.
