Tire size m340
I was wondering if I can run 265/40/19 in the rear and 245/40/19 in the front I have xdrive I wonder if it will have issues

I agree, the difference in circumference is too big for an xdrive, it will put more pressure on the transfer case and cause premature wear.
If you wanted to keep a pair of the tyres you have bought you could go with: Front - 245/40r19 Rear - 275/35r19 (if that will fit) 0.6% difference Although something you should also keep in mind is how the change also impacts your speedo & odometer... assuming your OEM front tyres were 225/40r19 then changing to 245/40r19 would result in your speedo under-reading by 2.3% (unless you can adjust the on board computer) Last edited by GusL; 09-28-2021 at 03:47 AM.. |
