Winter wheels - Squared or Staggered?

Which is best? Thanks.

Looking to order an M340i shortly and trying to figure out which stock 19" wheels to order which I will use as winter wheels. Ordering a staggered setup for summer tires after, likely the Apex VS-5RS.

A squared setup is generally better, as you want your tires to cut through the snow and make contact with the pavement, which thinner tires do better.

Just be aware that if you order a squared setup, your top speed will be limited to 130mph.

As Stag77 stated, a squared setup will be the best option. I would highly recommend the 225 square setup for winter conditions. If you go wider, the tire won't cut through the snow as effectively, instead, it will pack it, making your driving experience more slippery.
