I assume that for now you need to pass via dealer first to do the update right? Only then you can get AA/CarPlay updated in the car? Not seeing the AA option in BMW Connected but My BMW app is also down still

As long as you are on istep 03/2022.52 there is no need to visit the dealership.

ok, don't have access to the car but sure that I am not on istep 03/2022.52

If you haven't had the car updated in the last 2 weeks, then you don't have it .

If so, either visit dealer, or wait for the remote upgrade from the 25th

thanks, very clear (sorry had missed that page 1 was updated in meanwhile).

I have an appointment for the 8th of June (nothing sooner available) so probably will have to wait for the remote software update to roll out end May...

given how slow remote upgrades are to roll out, and then actually install, your appointment will still probably be faster haha. plus it's good to get your code hooked up and the FASTA (vehicle data) uploaded every now and again anyway

yes, keeping the appointment for now as I can cancel until 24h before. So will wait to see if it rolls out before June 7th...

It took me about 1hr to fix that shit. And still no CarPlay for me

Yeah, it takes some time to make sure everything is re synced but it does get there in the end

Now it found CarPlay on my iPhone but still nothing on the iDrive system.

Car doesn’t receive the security code and the QR Scanner to add my BMW ID to my car doesn’t work either.
