Has anyone done an oil analysis while using an E30 blend. I ask because its recommended to change your oil more often with E85. So I was wondering if there is any data to support E30 blends also causing excessive fuel dilution when compared to 93 octane. I am also surprised that the M340i has 11K oil change intervals and what mileage intervals are you guys changing your oil at?

I do oil changes every 5000 Km's i think that works out to about 3100 miles. Probably way to early tbh.

I change it every 10,000kms / 6000miles.

Here, in Australia the BMW service interval is, believe it or not - 30,000kms / 18,000miles !!!!

I run e50 and change the oil every 5k. I pretty much always run E50. I sent it to blackstone labs for testing and they said the oil looked great and had no contamination from e85. They said 5k oil change interval was a good time to change it.

I appreciate the feedback, I will probably do it between 6 & 7k miles from here out.
