Evening guys,

Curious to see if anyone else has had this issue.

For the last couple of months I’ve been suffering from a whirring noise from the car. Almost sounded like a wheel bearing. Took it into BMW today & the differential needs replacing.
All going through on warranty I presume, but pretty gutted to say the least as I’ll be without the car for the forseeable.

Does anybody know how long this repair could take? I’ve been given a rough time of 5 days.

Interested to see if anybody has suffered this too?

I had the same issue on my 2wd 330e, diff was repaired / replaced. Actual work took 4 - 5 hours, testing and approval took a week.
