Yea I have seen the wheel issues and the A8 problem. I had heard the A8 issue was fluid related and was easily fixed. The wheels obviously not as much.

Yes correct the z06 and grand sport wheels suck ass.

The auto does make the car overheat relatively easier than the manuals. Although that mainly pertains to track driving. Street driving you’ll never run into these issues.

My suggestion is subscribe to LMR late model race craft on YouTube. As they do INSANE c7 z06 and zr1 builds.

But make no mistake the LT4 is a powerhouse.

I would never buy an automatic Z06 with the issues I've read while being a member of the CorvetteForum.com for the last 6 years. I'd read up on those and make a decision!

LOL at the top thread (right now) being a cracked wheel complaint: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-in-wheel.html
I’m just not a huge fan of the stying of the C8. I prefer the c7 lines

Everything I mentioned was related to the C7. The C8 has DCT issues as well, but it doesn't seem to be as much of an issue as the A8 in the previous C7.

Wide body corvettes will always look better so it’s understandable.

Once the z06 debuted I couldn’t care less at all about the stingray.

As @bmg wrote, it was a glue / adhesive odor that even leaving the windows down and the hatch open while parked, never really went away. Maybe now, 10 years later, it's better. I couldn't wait.

I also found it difficult to get in and out of, moreso than my C6. Sharp dashboard edge.

Otherwise, a really great car to drive.

And the paint is really thin and the infotainment system is from the 80s.

Lots of road noise.

One gets spoiled driving BMWs.

The one thing I can say after owning my m3 for over a year is the seating position is crap. The seats are amazing and definitely better than what I have in my z06 but for the life of me I can’t get a good position to where I’m comfortable for anything longer than 30 minutes. Idk what it is.
