I’m on this software rev for a month or so now. Yesterday I got in the car and temp was set at 66 degrees, way low. I then noticed that my M buttons didn’t work. The iDrive 8 system told me that my phone’s Bluetooth revision was no longer supported either.

The first time I restarted the vehicle it returned temp to normal. I think the second restored M presets, and the third restored Bluetooth and CarPlay. The whole thing was really weird and I’ve not seen this sort of thing before.

I checked the software version I’m on its 11/2022, I checked the remote software update in Idrive says no update available.
Last update I was notified in the mybmw app, is this rolling out in stages to cars or do I have to look for it.

Roll out. It will eventually come. Mine came last week.

Mine showed up a couple of weeks ago. I do not see, or feel (imaginary or otherwise) any changes to performance. Its not like the 7/2022 update that many in this forum perceived (including me) to have made changes to shifting in D3/S3 and exhaust burbles.

I commented on page 2 of the thread already. Nothing that I can tell the difference in with the latest update. Other than my M1 and M2 buttons changed settings again. Probably more stuff in the background that we'd never really notice.

The previous update where persons were saying they thought the exhaust tone had changed I agree with. My exhaust is deeper now on the burble.

The previous 2022 version popped up on my phone app a while back but the car never updated.

the 2022 update just popped up on my app literally after i got the car back from annual service LOL... it started downloading then paused and just won't download

After reading that some think shifting isn't aggressive, etc i dont want to do the 2022 updated or the latest one then (22 x drive)

Will BMW give anyone issues that dont update with warranty or service?

I just did the update to my car and two things happened to me that I noticed:
1) my remote start from the key fob is no longer working - I do the triple tap and it doesn’t do anything like it used to
2) the parking sensors have gotten way more sensitive. I have a tight parking spot in my garage but it was fighting me to let me back the car out of the garage. I also went to back into a spot at the mall, not remotely close to the other cars and the sensors were going off and wouldn’t let me back up. I had to turn the sensors off and back in to get the car to let me start moving again

Do u have PPF over the sensors ?

Both of those things are just settings that reset after any software update. Reenable remote start and set pdc sensitivity to low from the app in the car.

Thank you for this. I will go in and change those things. I was definitely scratching my head as to why in the world they would make those changes!

Anyone have an update disappear from app and car after not installing? I had an update , didn’t get around to installing it and now it’s gone , showing no update. It’s not a big deal just curious.

I had this happen with this update as I was slow ro install it, but the day after it disappeared it reappeared and I was able to download and install.

Yes on M3cx. No issues besides a few options needed reset eg remote locking

Seems to increase PDC sensitivity and possible gear/speed behaviours. Maybe place i as others have said
