Badge Crooked from Factory?

I noticed after I had the black emblem installed but when I looked at an old picture they both look crooked. Am I crazy or are they both crooked?

To me the chrome one looks straight but the black one is crooked, and the M on the black one is too far spaced out from the 3.

Badge should be level and not aligned to the boot lines.

They look ok to me other than the m is spaced too far from the 340i on the black badge.

Agreed… wondering if it’s worth asking the shop to redo it…

Place a spirit level on it, to be sure if it’s crooked.

If it’s a genuine badge they come pre spaced and are applied in one.

Quite different to mess up the installation.

They use a tool at the factory to align the badge the same every time. See video at 13:39 mark.

It looks dummy proof but I’m sure someone could mess it up.

I replaced mine with the black lettering using same spot from factory. It is level to the horizontal lines on the trunk but will look crooked if you compare to the sloping line of the top of the trunk.

Also agree if OEM it comes in one pre set sticker so hard to mess up the distance of the M letter versus the 340i part. Not sure what they did on yours.
