So I would say that the suspension is more comfortable than I thought it would be, but it is not as comfortable as I want it to be. I'm considering swapping out the run flats for normal tires, as that is the best thing you can do if you don't have adaptive suspension. Let me know your thoughts! Wanna hear what you think as well. |

Glovis Cardinal is at the port of Brunswick as we speak. Next stop Baltimore (hopefully). I would think my car should be at the dealership in a few weeks. Can’t wait.

Ship is coming up the Chesapeake now. Depending on how busy the port is it might land late this morning/afternoon.

If I want to go for a comfortable car, would’ve picked A6 long ago without the need of waiting 3 freaking month. But just don’t like Audi that much. And no regrets of waiting after I get the car!! Haven’t got time to take proper pictures. But it is such a beautiful car even with a glimpse. I’ll share some photos with my laptop later! (Don’t know how to upload photos using my phone here) definitely want to see more photos of yours as well |

Vessel transport
2024 330 Mexico build - shipped to Tampa on Grand Champion.
Arrived in port Saturday Dec 1, apparently dropped off entire vehicle inventory and today Monday Dec 4 is returning to Mexico! . Neither dealer nor Genius knows anything further, stating unusual not the have same vessel stop for drop off and continue up east coast to NJ. Any others with similar experience, knowledge or comments ? Could it be auto transport from Fl to Northeast ? Thanks. Last edited by jjrom; 12-04-2023 at 04:03 PM.. |

Edit - I think it was in March of this year. In April, another east coast ship skipped Baltimore entirely - it was reported that the BMW's on that ship were offloaded in Bayonne and shipped by Truck to Baltimore. Occasionally weird things do happen. Edit #2 - as of now, Grand Champion is scheduled to hit Brunswick, Georgia on Dec 13. My 330e landed in Bayonne on Dec 17th, 2022. I took delivery Dec 22nd, 2022. Looks like you may have a similar trajectory. Last edited by benz330e; 12-05-2023 at 09:01 AM.. |

Thanks for your reply/post.
That seems to make some sense, as estimated NJ delivery is Dec 19. Just strange that the ship would pick up my new vehicle and leave Altimara Mexico on Nov 26, arrive in Tampa Nov 28 and motor back to Mexico with vehicle still on board, then make additional trips before heading to Brunswick and NJ. That would imply that my vehicle was on board for 3 weeks ! |

At least back then, the BMW's 3 series cars were loaded onto the car carrier ships in Veracruz. The Veracruz port is extremely busy, and I've seen the car carrier ships waiting offshore to dock for over a week sometimes. The ship your car is on probably had a time slot to dock in Veracruz and thought it was worth their while to load up the BMW's before the trip to Tampa, rather than take a risk on waiting for another slot that might be busier. The trip to Tampa was for another car Manufacturer, because BMW does not have a VPC in Florida. Last edited by benz330e; 12-07-2023 at 01:00 PM.. |

Finally underway on Grand Champion from Mexico to Brunswick GA - albeit behind schedule by a couple days. Thereafter, I assume on to Baltimore and NJ. Hopefully, I will see my new Bimmer before Xmas.
