After a couple of weeks with the recorder, I've found it's a bit awkward to activate manually. You can either do it via the App, or a long press on the panorama camera button next to gear shift or add the App as a widget to the display screen. I moved my phone widget to the 2nd page and put the drive recorder where the phone widget was on the home screen.
I think it could do with a soft programmable button on the steering wheel for activation...as when you see some dodgy driving you don't necessarily want to be taking your eyes off the road to activate the recorder. |
