I plan to do another video showing more revs, flyby, and in-car. Just don't have the time at the moment Still very satisfied with this setup! Last edited by AddictedTo///M; 11-20-2023 at 04:54 PM.. |

If it is like everything else, it's going to sound great!

Stock downpipe or catless? Depending on your downpipe it could be a large difference. There are a few videos posted now with catless and stock that show the difference it can make.

Maybe just a tad louder since we go all the way to the downpipe.

Got this catback exhaust installed in my garage this week so I thought i'd give a write up. *THIS POST IS NOT SPONSORED*
Install: Completed in my garage on jack stands by myself. It took around 4.5 hours. I would recommend an extra set of hands if you can find it. Makes life much easier when it comes to rotating pipe sections to find the perfect fitment. All required hardware (clamps, plugs, valve, wiring) was included in the kit. I had to loosen my MRM catless downpipe and rotate it to make the catback fit happily. NOTE that the outer pipes (larger diameter) that exit the muffler are side specific. I spent a while struggling to get the tip fitment to my liking only to realize that the passenger side piping is slightly longer than the drivers side. Only other part that you may find difficult is the installation of the valve actuator. This part I did need my wife's help with. My OEM reused valve actuator was aligned with the new valve and went right on. The new actuator however needed to be adjusted so I connected the new actuator to the car and moved between comfort and sport until I could stop the actuator at the proper angle. Sound: Valves closed is quieter than the OEM catback and valves open is a riot that is at least twice as loud at WOT. I did already have an MRM catless downpipe installed before this so with the valves open it is essentially straight piped. Value: Overall I believe that this catback is the greatest bang for buck for our cars by a large margin (especially with this Black Friday sale). The adjustability of the volume via the valves rivals brands like Valvetronic for less than half the price while other popular options like AWE offer no adjustability at all. Here is a video of some before and after clips. https://youtu.be/Z6QAYtnOfOM?si=GtVFskcFYF30lVKb Let me know if you guys have any questions! Last edited by Prophet26; 11-27-2023 at 10:15 AM.. |

Cold starts were loud the first few days but normal now. I mainly drive in sport so can’t confirm the droning in comfort but can in a few days and get back to you.

Man that does sound good and the exhaust looks really good too. Maybe even better than stock? Thanks for posting. I’m wondering if 2021+ will sound different tho.

The tone and volume should be very similar if you also have a catless downpipe. Only difference would be the burbles on a 21+

Correct. Less burbles without a tune on the 21+

Mad exhaust installed!
Really happy with how this turned out. still figuring out the left valve actuator but other than that it’s good to go. Sounds amazing, way better than stock. Nice burbles in 3d gear s+ as well. |
