Installed lamin-X on my fog lights
Still on the fence if I like it or not.
They look amazing at night, and help to see the road at night when raining.

With new LEDs in the cool white, blue/white spectrum these days, I actually like the yellow/amber look for blinkers or fogs, mixes things up a bit. One of the reasons I didn't paint my reflectors.

Yes! And that's why I did it. But I wish I could have actual yellow LED lights, instead of the film

You can see them in this shot, this is just a medium tint as I still wanted them to be useful

Did you dismantle your front end to get to the fog lamp or did you just wing it without taking everything apart?

That's exactly why I'm considering just to put a really dark tint or completely black wrap over it. I don't want to take off the whole bumper to delete the fogs. It was so much easier on F generation.

So lay the film and then trim with a razor or did you have a template and trimmed first?

The fog light were covered by my wrapper. Two layers of yellow film. Hybrid type of polyurethane, I guess. Last edited by D0NVT; 03-29-2023 at 07:18 AM.. |

Mine was done by wrap-master. Front bumper was fully removed and covered by ppf. So that's the way how get the access to fog lights, I guess. |
