buying trim pieces online for g20
Hey guys,
I am from Australia, where BMW parts cost 3 x the amount in the US and abroad.. (we're so lucky- yay) Anyway - my m340i has the dreaded tetragon trim, and i want to order the four pieces to either DIY or have BMW replace them for me. Problem is - whilst i believe i have the correct trim numbers from BMW OEM website, I keep discovering more and more part numbers that seem to be the same part? Is this normal? is there a website where i can put in my VIN? my VIN is WBA5U900708B47366 (but this is with tetragon and i need oak) regards |

You can use realoem.com to find a list of parts for your car. Enter your VIN number and then check the vehicle trim options.

For my 2-cents
Find a car that has the interior trim you desire - you can do this by searching on line for new or used cars on the bmw website, used car websites or maybe here. Grab the vin Take that vin and use it to reference and buy the parts you want |

They should work because it world standard for a 17 digit VIN. Realoem, bimmercat, bmwfans.info all you need to enter is the last 7 digits.

If your M340 is a 2020 production date it's not going to work on most websites. I can run your vin when I return to work from the Christmas holiday.

Economic Commission for Europe. Basically it means your car has euro specs and not American/Japanese etc.
