How do you turn the G20 "off" without the remote after shutdown?
So maybe this answer is obvious but I haven't stumbled on the solution yet - so would appreciate any help.
With our F30's we could come to a stop, put the car in park, and push the start stop button to shut the engine off. Another push of the same button and it would kill the dash, radio etc.... With the G20 I can't seem to do this second step without getting out of the car and using the remote. Is there a way? Thanks! |

I think it's supposed to detect the key fob moving away, and shut itself down, it's just that the key fob communication appears to be terribly unreliable.

I assume it operates like the G05 so you could set it to shut down when you open the door or if you don't want to do that just hold in the volume button for a few seconds. If you don't do anything it will shut down by itself after a minute or so.

Appreciate your response thank you - but it seems not like the G05 - no setting it to shut all down with door opening (unless someone here can tell me how) and holding in volume button shuts down stereo sure but doesn't address everything else that is still lit op (dash, ambient lighting etc...)
