Winter tire question

Hi everyone
For g20 with M sport brakes:
is 18” the smallest winter rim that will fit?

Yes I believe 18s are the smallest you can go. For my winter setup, I'm running 225/45/18 on Fast FC04s.

I did some more searching and found that not all 18s will clear the front brakes, double check with your local tire shop and wheel manufacturer to be sure there's enough clearance. The guys at 1010Tire guaranteed the fitment for the FC04s.

So, I did like you said and was able to install, 225/45/18. But now the TPM sensor is always on. When I asked him he said he didn't put a new sensor.
So my question is do we have to change TPM sensor Everytime we install a new tire. This is new to me.
I've owned a 4 series in the past and never had an issue with TPM sensor.

You have to get a set of aftermarket TPMS for the new wheels or that light will be on all winter.

He's asking for 240$, wonder if that's a decent price. Or maybe I can buy something online.

Also, thank you so much for the quick response.

Seems high but I have no idea what brand he's using. I paid $150 for all 4 from my tire shop.

All 18” will fit M Sports cars. M Performance Brakes are the exception where only some 18” wheels will fit.
