Thanks for testing the fitment! We should get a wiki going for this, or at least an "all about brake options" for the G20.

Awesome, I'll check it out once you've posted. I appreciate the time you've taken to find upgrades for the G2x!

Hey All,

I wanted to request some guidance/options on upgrading the brake set-up (4 or 6 pistons) for my '20 330i, at a reasonable price. I'm not looking to track the car but enjoy driving the Western Carolina mountain roads.

What size do you want?

348mm
374mm
395mm

Wheel size will possibly prevent 395mm, depending on your set up.

What do you have now? The M-Sports (348mm, four piston) with steel lines and good fluid with some upgraded pads are more than adequate for the 330i.

I’ve run laps at the Nuerburgring with that setup and have zero fade.

You have a part number or a good link for the steel lines upgrade? I didn't include these when I did the brake upgrade but want to look into it again if u think its worth the swapout

Wheel bolts after the job - 140nm.

Hope this helps - torques are all taken from the TIS manual.

As a side note, why are you fitting the M Perf kit to an M340i? You will not be increasing the rear brake provision at all, simply changing to red calipers. Furthermore, if your car has the track handling package, you will also not be upgrading the front brake provision either!
Hello, I happened to come across your post on Google and I was really pleased about it. I'm looking to change my brakes and would like to know the torque specifications for them. I have a BMW 320 (G20) from 2019 and I'd like to know the torque specifications for both the front and rear brakes. I have the regular brakes.

I would be so grateful if you could help me with this. I've been searching for this information for a long time.
