I was able to have the coils installed last week, and oh my it's like the car is totally different. In less than 2 weeks I'll be at the track where I'll be able to truly reap the benefits of this new setup.
Chubbiejones - how many miles did it take for everything to settle? |

Roughly 500miles for full break-in, but that was with Swift springs not the Eibach springs utilized by Ohlins; there could be a difference but I'm sure the break-in is very similar of not the same. |

I just got the car back with the Ohlins installed but I think I'm missing some of the accessories. Could one of you let me know what accessories were included? Like the wrenches, etc.

I originally had the coilovers installed with the supplied springs and they rode fantastic; changing the springs was strictly personal choice. Ohlins uses Eibach springs with a spring rate that is comfortable and better than factory.

Seems after ive read alot, kw's, etc all ride like "oem" or stiffer. Ohlins are the only ones out the box that noticeably feel amazing. correct me if im wrong though. |

For DD, spirited driving how long do they last before needing to be serviced? I read you had to trim some stuff, was that just due to your specific setup or is that a standard user like myself, just using them out of the box? What would you rate the ease of the install out of 10 as? Thanks, sorry for so many questions. I like first person sources |

Trimming was required as I have 20" wheels, not to say you won't have any rubbing issues with 19" wheels. Tire/wheel size coupled with the total amount lowered will have a direct effect on if trimming is required. Installation difficulty is subjective, and will be based upon the mechanical aptitude of the installer along with the tooling at his/her disposal. For me, I would rate the difficulty of installation at a 3 out of 10, with a 10 being the most difficult. You are more than welcome to ask as many questions as you need, that is what we are here for. Additionally, I attached all installation manuals and material requirements to my thread. Note: you have to view via a browser to view attachments, viewing via the app will not display attachments. |

Chubbiejones For highway driving, was the car more comfortable around bumps? I have non adaptive and the suspension is quite stiff. I'm trying to decide between these and KW V2's

Since the installation of the Ohlins the car has been flawless in every road condition. If your budget permits, Ohlins is the way to go. If you have not already, go and take a look at the differences between the Ohlins design and the KW design. In my opinion, the design differences were enough to sway me towards the Ohlins vs KWs
