I have the GLaxy S22 Ultra and if I use it for navigation or music while charging it overheats. I switched the the USB C charger in center console and zero issues.

Yeah, I find it quite odd to be honest a brand such as BMW with their otherwise amazing cars and technology can't come up with a better wireless charging pad.

My separate wireless charger connected to the 12V which I bought for like 20 bucks works perfectly fine and even provides fast wireless charging.

Factory wireless charger sucks, always overheats and doesn't keep up the battery of device when using Android Auto. I installed the wireless charger from Quad Lock and have not used the oem charger since.

Again, very sad this seems to be the case for most of us, having to rely on 3rd party wireless charging solutions even when we paid like 10 times the price for the built-in one.
