I'd say it's a brighter, deeper colour which looks fantastic when gleaming. BMW are one of, if not the best at doing a blue shade.
Will have a gander at the configurator in a mo.

And yes I do realise you can already have almost any colour you like if you're prepared to pay for it from the Individual range; however, I'm meaning colours that ought to be available without significant additional cost!

ETA: And actually, looking on the configurator Phytonic isn't an option on the M340i anyway - the colour choice for that model looks to be unchanged!
I really do like the Phytonic but I think you still chose well with Tanzanite. After seeing it on a M340i dealer spec'd with a Fiona red/blue interior I totally would have gone that route had I started from scratch...….love the Sunset Orange too though.

Apparently it will be MY 2020 - they have not yet started building MY2021 yet - according to online genius.

Thanks for this - yes build date w/c 15th June. Not missing out on too much I don’t think. Order is for 330e MSport with DAP so will not get some of the lane guidance but that is about all I think.

Not sure if believable, but BMW OnLine Genius informed me that G20 MY2021 is due to begin on week 37, 7th September 2020.

Sorry should have been me, not my.
I ordered a 330i at the beginning of March for original delivery this week.
Now been told that it will be manufactured in wk37, and delivered wk40. Very strange when others with later original delivery, are expecting sometime in July.

That seems later than some people thought?

I wonder if there will be any other updates to recent cars when we get the Android auto download?

My 330e has a build week of 28 amd delivery at week 32, and it will be my2021 (being built in Germany) . At least for cars sold to Finland the model year changes at the beginning of July. I could have gotten the the new sport seats and red calibers if I wanted. No other real changes.

I ordered the car April, and it was intentionally ordered to be my2021, could have had it sooner if not waiting for my2021.

I'm 99% sure cars built from July or September depending on market are classed as the next year.

2 of my last BMWs and my current M340i were built in Sept and classed as the following year.

I've just checked the paperwork of my M340i which was built in November 2019 and classed as a MY2020.

Also the 1 series will come with a blank button that can be programmed for the auto high beam software download. This is a MY2021 option for cars built from September for the UK market.

I just ordered this week - 320i M-sport plus with options.

I'm assuming that I'll get a MY21 car?

Also regarding the 48V MHEV tech - does anyone know if that's expanding to the 320/330i? Last time I checked the configurator it only showed on the diesel models.

My 330e should go into build next week so probably one of the last of the MY2020 ones.

Is there a definitive list of the differences in standard spec for the MY21 over the MY20? I saw an article saying that CarKey would be available on all cars from July onwards including the 3 series. As it requires comfort access does that mean it will only work on cars with CA or is CA now standard. Google doesn’t help clarify!
