2. Evidence ? It's all in relation to the new 4.
Why would you pay to join a list for the new M3? These cars will be available left right and centre from launch. Not only that you will get absolutely caned on depreciation. Every new M car model in the UK recently has had insane deals 6-12 months after launch.

Just seems utterly mental to me, just to be “first”. I’m trying to help you out here man. Get your £500 back ASAP
It goes towards the car and is refundable.
And I fully appreciate what you're saying.
I got my foot in the door and that's all
That may not lead to a purchase
If sales are sluggish you're right and the best case of that we have seen is the x3m recently

So I'll wait and see. I'm not desperate for the car

At least the New M3 will look better than this epic disaster!
Don’t let the BMW designers see this.

The F80 will bottom, and start to rise like all other M3s before it.

The right spec will be key to the future value.

Personally it growing on me but the major cons I see are
1. Headlights look completely like a Kia
2. The grill issue- I don't think it looks bad but it's not nice either.
3. Overall the front bumper needs help. Bottom line

Not for years. They're still dropping like a stone and can't sell. I almost bought one before deciding on my M6 GC which is also dropping like a stone. F80 is an awesome M car but it's also largely undesirable by many. Several private sellers were upside down and still couldn't give me the keys quick enough. That scared me away.

Back in topic, these grills are probably a combination of cooling, aero and a brash appearance trying to set itself apart from every car on the road. Ugly as sin in my opinion but maybe it'll grow on me like the new X5 grill has. Seeing the new M850i GC in person, made me realize the huge plastic grill looks cheap as fawk and completely ruins a beautiful car otherwise. I'm a huge BMW fan but I find myself going back in year models and caring less and less about performance.

For now, excuse me, but nobody knows
So all of the M3 spy shots that clearly show this behemoth of a grille are fake? Whaaaaatever buddy 🙄

I've read that BMW might reveal it (in images) at Geneva on March 3rd. The car seems all ready to go so they might as well.

A lot of folks will initially hate the new design direction of the 3/4, but the M3/M4 has always turned out to look great.

Renders look good.
