I think it looks great...it just reminds me way too much of a C43!

I know everyone isn't a huge fan of the new design but it's growing on me. IMO if you squint at 50 meters away the jet black G20 looks a lot more like an E90 than the F30 did.

Designers really missed the mark with this G series. If BMW is trying to get a leg up on the competition, this certainly won't help them one bit.

They're a little better in person seeing the color and 3d structure up close but ya I think they are a bit lazy and boring

Yep those stripes are ridiculously hideous.

Orange somehow makes it look even worse than every other color I've seen, and I love bright colors. Really starting to think the way forwards is indeed going backwards to an older car the more I see these online and in person

Unfortunately,
All customers DO NOT LIKE the M on their grills.

It is sad that the dealer is doing this to the majority of their cars.

They had an E90 M3 CRT which had its gloss black wheels painted red.....horrible

We have better taste in here and no we do not like the M colors on the grill or M badges on a non M

I love the wheels. Wish they made a 19" version for my M2. I've been waiting on these since the 2002 Homage appeared a few years ago.

Sure, it'd be "striking" if SO actually looked like it does in those pictures. It doesn't.

So BMW kinda understyles the base car, but the M Performance group decides to correct that with overstyling it. Got it.

Agreed. The tri color stripes are the worst fad to hit BMWs in quite some time. Otherwise I think the car looks great.

Agreed! I don't get the fad at all. Ricer if you ask me. Just looks cheap.

Correct. Enthusiasts complain when they have dislikes.

The steering was too light in the E46 for sure. I've owned two 325s and an M3. And absolutely many buyers are searching for a car that's not as big a 5 series. That's why BMW lost the luxury small car sales crown to Mercedes and why the Audi A3 is also outselling them in this segment.

Many of us want our 3 series to be a 3 series sized vehicle, if we wanted a 5er we would be shopping for it.

The bigger the better the tighter the sweater is a nice fun immature saying. Unfortunately it doesn't apply to cars. Bigger isn't always better. BMW has been making cars bigger,
Grilles bigger, and adding more power and feels that this must be better.
If the current 3 series is too big for your likes, you can always get a 2 series. The 3 series has become a mid sized sedan. The 2 series is now the compact, entry level, sports sedan like the 3 series used to be. The offerings are similar, the nomenclature has just changed, and there are now more models to choose from in the middle.
