Its the Parking Assistance Package. The 360 deg cameras with the wide angle in the back and front cameras and the sensors that be when u r close to hitting something. My garage is tight and having the front camera really help. Backing out of the parking garage at work is a nightmare but the wide angle camera is awesome where you can see everything. Your car already has it as i remember your post about the warnings randomly coming on when you pull into the garage. Id take your “stripper” car any day…lol

There are two different camps here:

1) those who did pre-orders with a confirmation

2) those who did not do pre-orders

I fall into #2, so BMW needed a production # to prove that I am in line.

I sent an e-mail to the BMW genius to complain about the lack of DAPP for MY 2023 i4 M50. They responded and said....

Though the 2023 BMW i4 eDrive40 does not have the option for the Driving Assistance Professional Package at the time of production, the 2023 BMW i4 M50 currently does. I suggest speaking to your Client Adviser at your preferred BMW center to further discuss your order concerns. They are in the best position to assist with your inquiry. It sounds like if BMW can get the parts they plan on having DAPP on the i4 M50. Good news for me as I have a M50 pre-ordered. Bad news for the people that are looking for an e40.

It does not show up on the 2023 ordering or pricing guide. Of course that information can change frequently.

I've seen some other people that claimed DAPP is not removed from MY23 M50 also. Let's hope these responses are accurate.

Yes the Cognac leather is gorgeous, I got mt car in April and absolutely love it. The cognac interior totally raises the beauty, can’t imagine why the d/c that option. IMO it’s the prettiest leather.

I had the cognac when I owned a 7 series, it is indeed a beautiful interior colour. Only negative is some clothes transfer their colour on to it, I have a brown suede jacket that when it was damp one time discoloured the arm rest and took an age to get out.

came on here looking for this answer too. if DAPP isn't available I won't be buying this car. We use it all the time and will not buy another vehicle without one. Very nice for longer trip or stuck in traffic.

Yeah, I don't know why they got rid of it either. Must be supply of dyed hides. Only reason since they kept the congnac sensatec.

My car was.migrated to MY2023 yesterday and they replaced cognac with mocha.

I was debating pushing for tartufo full leather but it could push out an already delayed car by another 8-10 weeks in the worst case.
That would mean September possibly just for the assembly line then delivery. I can't wait.

My CA is trying to see if they will honor the build since the original config was cognac and they accepted it into the factory and scheduled it twice. Otherwise I'll just take mocha because I don't want black, red or white.

At this point I just need them to build me an eff'n car.
