Hello. I am thinking of buying a 2019 G20 330e. I wanted to ask if the infotainment will do android auto please ? If it will, is it wireless ? The car I am lookin at has the virtual dash. Many thanks

Yes it should. My 2019 G20 330i with the virtual dash has it. Beware it is a little finicky if you are using the blue-tooth feature

That car can have Android Auto:
- it has hardware components
- update 07/2020 (I think) enabled Android Auto feature
- later they removed subscription for this (yes it required subscription when this car was launched)

The question is if it's enabled by default and there is no way of 100% knowing that without checking it.
- some people have it disabled due to country car was manufactured for
- some people have it disabled as they didn't originally have subscription for CarPlay & Android Auto

In any case, it can be enabled.
- Service center / dealership might charge for it, and I've seen quotes up to 300e.
- You also have the option of going to some coding guy (I did this for my previous car) where the price is ~50-100e.
- For some models it can be done for free through remote update.

It is wireless, it can have issues, e.g. for me whenever I'm going under automatic toll booth music stops for split second and continues, not an issue it's just annoying.
Also, it will not display map on instrument cluster but will give you driving directions from Google Maps.
